True Love Poems
This is my favorite True Love Poems ...
Stephen Blake, author of Loving Your Long Distance Relationship
I was so afraid to love So afraid to trust My entire life had been endles pain I didn't want that anymore.
You came into my life like a breath of freah airv You said, "I'll never hurt you or make you cry" "Just love me and I'll love you. Trust me with your heart and I'll keep it for you." The days grew with love.
The trust I had bestoed in you was more than ever before You had my heart, you had my love, you had my life. I gave you my innocence one cold winter night you said "Baby, I'll always love you, you know that don't you?" I shook my head 'yes', I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt we'd always be together How naive I was to believe such a lie.
Your love dimmed like the last ember in a fire. You still have my heart but you don't want it anymore You push me aside and say go away But I can't walk away without still loving you.
You were my lover, you were my wrold, you were my best friend. The love you had for me is now gone but my love for you goes just as strong.
Will you ever come back to me? In time we will see. Are we meant to be? Yes, we are.
