| Similar situation for me... I am in a LDR with a guy i met thru an exchange program, we are both 21. He is from germany and i am from usa, weve known eachother for 5 years now, have been in a LDR for almost 3. The spark was instant between us, but it took us a few years before we desided to try a LRD. The most common argument we get into is about the future, when it involves different COUNTRIES it just feels like that much more pressure of making "the correct" decision. For now we have desided to finish with our schooling, we both have 2 more years before we are done, and that is what i try to focus on for now. Until this "marker" gets closer, i just try to stay positive, thinking about and planning out our next visits. We only get to see eachother twice a year, which stinks... but i keep hopeful that it will work out. Have faith that it will work out, otherwise, why bother, right? |
