My boyfriend and I met over the internet 5 years ago. After a year of talking we finally met and realized that we were already in love with each other. He lives in VA, I'm in FL. After numerous breakups over the years 5 months ago he agreed that we should finally move in together. Now with 4 months to go he is saying that we shouldn't because he's scared that we won't work out (for various reasons which are too lengthy to type). I have a 7 yr old son that we told together about this move and who is so excited about this. My bf and I really love each other, we even have a couples therapy weekend in Atlanta (IMAGO therapy) scheduled for May. I love him but I don't want to be strung along either. I want a more "real" relationship instead of one that has to be maintained from 800 miles away. Not out of necessity, because there's no other reason for me not to leave my home to go to VA. We are apart because he has made that choice. I'm finding it hard to want to stay with him because of that. For 3 years he's put me off about our living together. It's like there's no light at the end of the tunnel.
