Hi.I'm in a similar situation as you. Except I live in Florida and he lives in NY. I have 2girls ages 11 & 18, and I am also divorced. My guy would like me to move to NY also - but I do have to consider my girls. The older one is off to college so this applies more to the younger one. I started talking to her about the move to NY - she's a little hesitant on it - but I think with some persuading and a few trips to NY she might be sold on the idea - maybe. I think that maybe you should have your kids decide for themselves after a trip or two to NY - the courts usually side with the mother - even though it would be a fight with your ex for the move. Maybe a 50/50 split of time might work - summer in Hawaii with their father - winters in NY with you....Just some thoughts - write back.
