Hey Sunflower! Thanks for the encouragement. Here's the update:

Boyfriend, Stan, came up with the brilliant idea to ask for our deposit back on the apartment and then around the 1st of July start looking for himself an apartment here in the town where I live. I about fainted. OMG! He's really putting his money where his mouth is! Finally a little less talk and a lot more action!!!

In some ways. The divorce still hasn't been filed. I don't think he's even talked to an attorney. But I am dealing with that by just remembering that I have his heart and he has mine and that's what's really important. The other stuff is just extra. If I want his last name bad enough, I can pay the $250 filing fee and have my name legally changed.

As far as what's holding him where he is, Sunflower, the answer is absolutely nothing. The only thing I can come up with are mommy's apron strings. Tread lightly, I know. He's got issues with women and authority. In my opinion, a man should have a certain amount of authority (but NOT abuse it!!!). He just canNOT seem to grasp that. He lets anyone, especially a woman, run all over him. It's kinda sad really. It's almost like he has no pride.

So that's what's going on. I do know that I need to just give it time. I know this is meant to be, but it is going to happen in its own time, not on my schedule. I think that this time we're spending dating and living separately is good for both of us too. Sometimes it just gets aggravating. And it NEVER gets any easier.
