Long Distance Relationship
Hey! We're about you to tell you the most sweetest story ever. How we met each other, fell in love and most importantly have stayed in love. It all started last May in a chat room on the net! After E-mailing each other every day, and chatting until we feel asleep on our keyboards, it was impossible not to learn everything about each other. We even exchanged pictures. Before we knew it we were writing snail mail, talking on the phone (and racking up the bills) We decided that we had to meet. We were only about 200 km apart. So we met at an amusement park between our homes and spent the best day together.
Steph: Before he had to leave he gave me a box. Inside amongst some cotton there was a jade heart necklace and a note that read: "Dear Steph, Assuming that everything is as perfect as we hoped, you'll probably be opening this on June 7th. I hope you like it. Love you 4ever, Manny" Wow! This guy was amazing!
Manny: I remember thinking alot on the way home. If she only felt the same way about me as I felt about her, things would work out great. I cried. I really didn't think I deserved someone as sweet and as beautiful as her.
Steph: So for the rest of the summer we saw each other almost every weekend, except for when he left for Greece. Uh-huh, after about a month or two into our relationship Manny was going away for four weeks. I was going to miss him so much. We were crying and hugging alot before he left. And the final hug, it was like "I don't want to let go. I don't want to let you leave me. Don't ever leave me..." We were both in tears, again.
Manny: While I was down there I called her every morning to say "I love you. Have a good day..." Believe me, for 5 weeks: That's ALOT of phone cards!
Steph: Aww! I mean I just melted! He also came home with a promise ring for me. It was official: The 5 weeks in Greece didn't pull us apart: It brought us closer. He had already decided that I was the one he would love forever. Manny: It's been over 1 year now and we are happier than ever. We have a long distance phone plan, and arrange to see each other almost every weekend. We've had hard times, but love always pulls us back together. We have made the decision to be together forever. One day, I'll learn that the words "I do" are the sweetest words I'll ever hear from Stephanie.
Steph: Next year Manny will be going to University closer to my home. So we'll see more of each other! If you are in a similar situation: Stay strong.
